There has been a big change over at the Guinness World Records.

Bobi, the Portuguese mastiff, has been stripped of the title of "world's oldest dog."

According to Guinness, Bobi's owners “no longer has the evidence it needs to support Bobi’s claim as the record holder."

Bobi's owners claimed that the dog was 31 years and five months old when he died in October.

Before Bobi, an Australian cattle dog named Bluey held the record at 29 years and five months when he died in 1939.
