ABC News Jim Ryan spoke to Bill about The world’s latest rocket launch is the beginning of a long-term mission to clean up the outermost layers of Earth’s atmosphere. A small Japanese satellite launched from New Zealand has been given instructions to meet up with-inspect 33-foot-long rocket cylinder that was launched in 2009. It’s one of the thousands of pieces of manmade space junk floating in Earth’s orbit and posing potential threats to future space missions.
