(Akron) The remains of a John Doe found in 2016 outside an abandoned house on Akron's Marcy Street have yet to be identified. But now there is hope that with the help of digital facial reconstruction technology someone in the public may recognize the man. The Summit County Medical Examiner, Dr. Lisa Kohler, says the man's remains had been at the house for some time, since before a fire that happened there in 2012. He is Caucasian, between 5-ft 9-in and 6-ft 5-in, and between 30 and 55 years of age. The man's remains were found after someone had placed the man's skull on the sidewalk in front of the house, and parts of his body were found strewn around the house.

Anyone who thinks they may know who the man is, is asked to contact Ohio BCI or the Akron Police Department.
