Cleveland Man is Sentenced for Killing Stepfather

(Cleveland) Twenty-seven-year-old Andre Williams II of Cleveland pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges of involuntary manslaughter and felonious assault for the shooting death of his stepfather, 58-year-old Russell Barnett. The incident happed during a family disturbance last May at a home on South Euclid's Telhurst Road. Williams was sentenced to 12-1/2 to 16 years in prison by Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Daniel Gaul. Upon release from prison, he'll be on probation for 2 to 5 years.
