Guardians Have No Bats & Get Shut Out By Padres 5-0

The Guardians lost their second consecutive game to the Padres in San Diego. Cleveland was shutout 5-0 at Petco Park. Aaron Civale got the loss after surrendering two runs while striking out seven batters over three-and-two-thirds innings. Josh Bell went one-for-three for Cleveland, which dropped to 31-and-36. The team is still second in the AL Central. The Guardians will try to avoid the sweep tonight. Logan Allen gets the start opposite Yu Darvish.
