Guardians have dropped two straight games to the White Sox following a 7-2 defeat in Chicago. Peyton Battenfield got the loss after surrendering five runs on nine hits over four-plus innings. Josh Bell drove in both runs for Cleveland, which fell to 19-and-23. The team is third in the AL Central. The Guardians will try to salvage the series this afternoon. Logan Allen gets the ball while Chicago counters with Dylan Cease.
