(Avon) - Over the course of 36 hours last Thursday and Friday, the Avon Police Department responded to three separate suspected drug overdoses within the city..
Members of the Avon Police Department patrol and investigative divisions responded to these incidents which resulted in one death. Narcan was administered to two of the overdose victims who survived. The third was deceased upon officer’s arrival.
A federal search warrant was executed on Tuesday at 1616 E 33rd Street in Lorain. Suspected narcotics and narcotic instruments were seized as a result of the search warrant. Criminal charges are pending the results of lab analysis of the suspected narcotics.
