(Cleveland) - Two experienced fishermen from the Cleveland and Columbus areas won big prizes in the 2018 Lake Erie Fall Brawl. The fishing contest attracted over than 6,000 anglers from six states.

The Adult Division winner is 62 year old Charles Mitchell Jr. of Cleveland, who reeled in a giant walleye weighing 13.73 pounds off Edgewater Park.

Mitchell wins a $100,000 Warrior fishing boat. Mitchell says he plans to sell the craft and split the money with his two fishing buddies so they can have a wonderful Christmas. He also plans to use part of his share to fund his granddaughter's college education.

The Kids Division winner is 10 year old Santiago Navarro of Galloway, Ohio who hauled in a 11.3 pound walleye near Huron on Lake Erie.

Santiago says he has been fishing with his dad Juan since he was two. He won a 16-foot Hewescraft with a motor, trailer, and rod holders, and is hoping to get his license to pilot the craft very soon.
