Help Catch A Thief

Cleveland Suspect

Cleveland Police are asking for your help to catch a car thief.  On November 18th at approximately 1 p.m., a woman drove into the Marathon Gas Station at 2780 E. 116th Street. She parked at a pump, leaving her vehicle running. As she walked toward the store to pay, two black male suspects entered her vehicle and one of the suspects pushed her ten year old son out of the vehicle from the back seat. The child became entangled in the seat belt and the suspects drove off, dragging him as the mother chased after the car. The child was eventually freed from the seatbelt and suffered minor injuries.

The photo is of one of the suspects as he entered the store prior to the incident to purchase a snack.

Anyone with information is asked to call fourth district detectives at 216-623-5418.
