Another Drug Eyed by Feds in NEO

(Undated)  --  A prescription drug used to treat nerve pain is being monitored as a possible drug of abuse in Ohio.  State pharmacy board officials started tracking Gabapentin late last year after learning it's the most-prescribed drug in Ohio.  Medical experts say it's a non-opioid drug with a low abuse profile, but a substance abuse monitoring group says patients in northeast Ohio are getting hooked and it's becoming available on the street.
