Both Suspects In Road Rage Case Arrested

(Cleveland) - Both suspects in a road rage case involving a four-year-old boy have been arrested.

U.S. Marshals arrested 21-year-old Leon Edwards Thursday morning in Goodwater, Alabama.  U.S. Marshal Pete Elliot says Edwards could be extradited back to Ohio in the next week.

The other suspect, 20-year-old Jonathan Smith, was arrested Wednesday in Cleveland.

Smith and Edwards are accused of shooting up an SUV on the East Shoreway near Dead Man's Curve on Sunday night.  One bullet hit a four-year-old boy in the head.  He underwent surgery to remove bullet fragments.

The boy's mother told Cleveland Police the incident started when she honked at a white Pontiac that was blocking traffic near West 28th and Division.  The driver of that white Pontiac followed the mother onto the Shoreway.
